Washington State Emergency Management Client Background and Vision: Washington Emergency Management Division is a State Agency in Washington State with the goal of creating a disaster-ready and resilient Washington State. They work on their own, and in support of local jurisdictions and tribes to help Washington’s citizens prepare for, mitigate against, survive, and recover from disasters. Part of this involves creating recognizable educational and outreach materials accessible to people regardless of their English literacy. Project Scope: Graphic design, design a series of images which demonstrate safety actions and communicate complex concepts. Images will be included in an upcoming mobile app!
